Trainers can also receive a cute little grass type Pokemon named Chikorita. Chikorita is a powerful grass type and later evolves into a Bayleef. And of course, Bayleef is a lot stronger and can help trainers through most of their battles. Bayleef will evolve into its final form known as Meganium. Meganium is a very powerful grass type that will of course make you a champion! The water type you can choose from Professor Elm is a Totodile. Totodile can learn some Dark type attacks like Bite, and can later evolve into a Croconaw. Croconaw will evolve into a Feraligatr which is a strong Water type Pokemon that will leave the opponents stunned!

Among the Pokemon regions, there is one region that is historic and covered in a force field of legend. That is the Johto region, home of the Tin Tower, the Whirl Islands, another Team Rocket Hideout, and The Lake of Rage. Trainers receive their starter from Professor Elm, Professor Elm is younger then most of the other Pokemon Professors. He is very proud of his research and can give trainers a Cyndaquil, Chikorita, or Totodile. Cyndaquil is a small but powerful fire type Pokemon. He evolves into a Qwilava which is strong and can pack a punch with his Flame Wheel attack. The final evolution of Cyndaquil is the powerful Typhlosion. Typhlosion is a very powerful fire type Pokemon that can defeat almost anything thrown at him that he's not weak against.

Some legends of the Johto region are that the Tin Tower is the home of the legendary Ho-oh. Ho-oh will only show itself when the proper example of People and Pokemon united as one is given. Ho-oh has an exclusive attack known as Sacred Fire. Sacred Fire is a very powerful move. Ho-oh also holds an item called the Sacred Ash. It is a very rare item that can heal Pokemon. Another legend is of Lugia, Lugia is in the Whirl Islands and will only show itself to a trainer with the Silver Wing, which is a very rare item trainers usually can find once in their journey. The Johto region is literally crawling with legend and ancient Pokemon! Is it the region for you?
